Hi, my name is Marc, I was born and raised in Haiti, and I’m determined to fix this environmental Toxic Gas Emergency, that is impacting my childhood neighborhood in Haiti and Help my Community Breathe Clean Air Free, with your help we can transform this wasteland into a beautiful green place for the community and the environment, it’s a matter where we have to act NOW.
As my community in Haiti is facing a serious and urgent crisis. The people in our neighborhood are struggling to breathe due to the toxic gas that is being released into the air. This gas is having a devastating impact on the health and well-being of our community, and we need your help to stop it.
Our community is in dire need of assistance to protect them from toxic gas. It is a matter of life and death, and we cannot stand idly by while our friends and neighbors suffer. We need your support to raise awareness of this crisis and to take action to protect our community from this toxic gas.

THE PROBLEM:
In January 2010 in Haiti, there was an earthquake happened, and a lot of people die and lost their houses. There was one land specifically in front of my house that lost everything. The land was left empty, and people started using it as a wasteland, and automatically people start throwing their trash on a daily basis there. My childhood community is impacted by this, including my parents, my friends and my family that lives there, but also the future generation, because as this wasteland is growing bigger and bigger, it’s being set on fire almost daily, which creates toxic gas, people can’t breathe because those guys are dead.
As this trash is growing, the future generation might not even be able to see this land as it was or even my neighborhood as it is right now, because it’s been destroyed by this fire. And we need your help, guys. We must ACT NOW personally, I’ve dedicated 2023 to fix this problem permanently.
This is enough, and I need your help to fix it. I’m doing this role for me raising for us to start the project and fix the problem. Therefore, people in my neighborhood, my family, and also everyone else in the community can breathe again. They deserve to breathe.
Every day, I’m breathing clean air here in the US, and to think about my family and my loved ones in Haiti that can’t breathe, It’s just a pain for me. And I’m willing to fix the problem with your HELP.

THE PROBLEM:
Because of the failure of the municipality’s garbage collection service, people come from everywhere to throw all kinds of garbage on this land.
The consequences are disastrous for the environment. Apart from the physical degradation of the area, the health impacts are catastrophic.
Homeless people come to the scene to look for scrap metal. To better find them, they set fire to the garbage. This mass of smoke pollutes the atmosphere and prevents people from breathing. Pressurized canisters burst and fly into the air. The insects, fleeing the smoke, invade the surrounding houses. Much worse, after the rains fall, the combustion of this garbage is not complete. It gives off carbon monoxide, a deadly gas. The whole neighborhood can’t breathe. It’s time to act now, WE NEED YOUR HELP
THE GOAL:
The goal is to remove all the waste, clean the land and turn it into a Green space,

THE PROCESS TO THE SOLUTION:
This situation challenges us to find a solution.
1. The owner of the land is willing to sell it.
2. Garbage collection by heavy machinery.
3. The construction of a fence to limit access to polluters.
4. Using the area to create a green space.
5. The construction of a Center to offer certain services to the community
6. The distribution of recycling bins to the neighborhood residents.
